Well after a fantastic week here at NEDay Crafts HQ , we have some really exciting news for you
Our business has gone from strength to strength in the last few years and something we are extremely proud of – We have had two very different sides of the business running from one main website. This is proving more confusing for us and I am sure some of our clients are maybe struggling to see what we actually do
We have always offered craft workshops , craft parties and craft activities for children, which has made our business a recognised brand, but only recently has our craft mentoring and support also been so successful
Both areas of our business are in the creative sector, although very different – Its been quite difficult to have the balance for both from one website
So we are really proud to launch a separate business and website for our crafts mentoring/coaching/ speaking – Please say hello to Vicky Lloyd – The Crafts Coach http://www.vickylloyd.co.uk
We even have a new logo
This is now the new home for all things relating to running a craft business – Making way for NEDay Crafts to remain creativity central for the other area of our business.
We have also made two separate areas for downloads, rather than membership which are accessible to all our readers and website visitors at a low cost
Etsy is a fantastic online platform for selling craft products – We have been a member since 2009 and has spread our business across the UK and overseas
So to celebrate this we have made our Etsy Shop into 2 main shopping areas – One for Ellies Angels (Our 11 Year old daughters mini enterprise) which she is still working on and our own Craft Downloads. So if you are looking for an individual craft downloads for children or some helpful craft business advice – our Etsy Shop is full of individual downloads.
Here are a few of our Etsy Shop gems that are rather popular at the minute and we are always working on new downloads .We really do love the positive impact Etsy gives our business – As well as encouraging more children across the world to get creative
Wondering what to do with the children this month? Well , We have a few new craft ideas to keep the kids and you happy
Always wondered how to make a paper fortune teller? I used to make them as a child and are still very popular.
This download will give you step by step instructions with photos
Another craft activity which children will love is The Star and Heart Photo Frames Craft Tutorial and Templates. And it would be a perfect craft idea for Mothers Day, giving that extra special touch
This is one of our favourite crafts for kids – Split Pin People
One last craft activity that children will love is this Design Your Own Hopscotch Game and Templates. They can design each page, then can play the game inside on a wet day or outside when its dry
I love the way we can turn things around and think big without too much effort. Creativity for children is what we do best, so our direction for 2014 is kids, kids and more kids.
OK so the North East maybe lacking in opportunities for NEDay Crafts to expand, but what is stopping up from doing it for ourselves?
For the last 2 years, expanding the business has always been on the agenda – I honestly thought the North East could support us, but after lots of soul searching and research, its not going to happen any day soon.
I want a big, better, stronger business for 2014 and want our brand to be known across the UK both online and offline – which is why we are expanding NEDay Crafts Limited craft workshops and parties for children. We are looking for possible creative assistants (on a self employment/ freelance) basis to work for us , spreading our business further, but also making money for themselves too.
So if you love children and crafts, already work freelance or are self employed and fancy working with us, then you half way there.
We are looking for creative assistants who are friendly, love crafts and love what we do- And all training and support will be given. We already have creative assistants for the North East, but if you live anywhere else in the UK, we would love to hear from you
